John H. Bisack III | President, Managing Director & Founder
John sets the strategic direction of PIP, establishing/maintaining relationships with our Private Equity Partners and managing the firm’s marketing, public relations, business development activities as well as monitoring client satisfaction (Portfolio Company & Private Equity firm). John is a frequent speaker at industry events, and an active consultant in due diligence and the development of operations and technology plans. John has B.S. degrees in Finance, Economics and Computer Science, and an M.B.A. in Finance and Economics, from Hofstra University.
Daniel J. Ahrens | Managing Director & Founder
Dan manages all aspects of client service deliverables to ensure PIP delivers quality services that meet the expectations of private equity and portfolio clients– on time and on budget. Dan’s activities also include scoping projects at the inception stage and project oversight (via a proprietary PIP monitoring system) that incorporates regular contact with both client management and PIP project teams. He is a hands-on consultant for selected due diligence,technology plan development, and system selection engagements. Dan has a B.S. in Information Systems Management from Buffalo State College.
Tom Jansen | Senior Vice President
Tom oversees all active projects and manages PIP project teams. Tom maintains an effective Governance Process that provides oversight and guidance of Portfolio Company Projects. Tom brings 25+ years’ experience leveraging technology and operational efficiencies in the business services, energy and consumer products industries. Tom has a BS in Finance from Central Connecticut State University and an MBA in Operations Management from DePaul University.
Jaime E. Sguerra | Senior Vice President
Jaime’s leadership role includes both business development and operations; he works with both our Private Equity Partners and their Portfolio Companies. His many years leading and managing Information Technology departments for Fortune 200 organizations provides the necessary breadth of experience to support portfolio companies throughout the private equity ownership lifecycle. Jaime leads Performance Improvement Partners’ Business Services and Software industry verticals. He is also responsible for PIP’s software engineering practice which includes business intelligence initiatives across all PIP’s industry sectors.
Jaime has a Systems Engineering (5-year program) degree from Universidad Piloto de Colombia, with post-graduate work at NYU and at the Wharton School of Business.
Lee Shull | Vice President of Service Delivery
Lee joined PIP in March, 2018 as Vice President of Service Delivery. Lee is responsible for monitoring all active projects and delivery resources/project teams to ensure the quality and timeliness of services. Lee has over 20 years’ experience in technology, both hands-on and managing delivery teams. He holds a BSBA degree from the Ancell School of Business at Western Connecticut State University.
Jen White | Senior Vice President
Jen manages the marketing and inside sales functions at Performance Improvement Partners. Prior to joining PIP in 2010, her experience included building a management services organization, strategic planning and marketing for a large healthcare system. Jen has a BS in Business Management from Widener University and an MPH from Yale University.
Joe Zappala | Vice President of Business Development
Joe Zappala, Vice President of Business Development, joined PIP in February of 2018. Joe’s leadership role at PIP includes developing and managing Private Equity Client relationships. His most recent role was with a fast-paced, venture-backed, cloud security startup where he was tasked with sourcing new business and creating enterprise relationships. He holds a B.A in Economics from Yale University, where he was a four-year letter winner on the hockey team.
Eileen Blanchard | Controller
Eileen Blanchard joined PIP in July 2019 and has worked for thirty years as a Controller with privately held entrepreneurial businesses. Her background includes implementing fiscally sound and efficient processes in rapidly growing franchise, distribution and project-based companies. Eileen holds a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Southern CT State University and began her career as a Mathematics Teacher. Her experience as a teacher has assisted her in developing talent and mentoring her finance team. Eileen holds an M.B.A. from the University of New Haven and also studied at the Goethe Institut in Germany and received a Master’s degree in German Literature from SCSU.
